Nice to meet you…

Hi, my name is Taryn Lilley and you could say I am pretty much obsessed with everything “SPA” related! It all started with a love for giving “my version” of a back massage to my family members when I was about 7 years old and realizing how something so simple could create such a powerful impact. The passion really just kept growing from there. I have been involved in the spa industry professionally since qualifying as a Somatologist (otherwise known as a Health & Skincare Therapist) in 2001. My first taste of hospitality was in working as a Spa therapist and travelling the world on Celebrity Cruise Liners for 2 years, where I developed my true passion for everything “SPA”. After returning home to South Africa, I worked as a therapist in a 5 star hotel before taking on my first Spa Management role in 2005.

I opened up my own Skincare Studio in 2010 and I have loved every second of my Spa and Wellness Journey so far. I was recently appointed South African Ambassador for World Wellness Weekend (WWW) and I am 100% committed to industry development and promoting quality spa experiences for all spa visitors.

I decided to create this platform to share professional advice, give product suggestions, write spa reviews and provide useful health tips to bring you all into my world of wellness. I will try to make my blog as interactive as possible and I would love to hear from you if you have any suggestions, comments or queries.
